Our church offers the following ministries:

• Bus Ministry
• Children Ministries
• Youth Ministries
• Music Ministry - Worship Choir and Praise Band
• MOPS - Mothers of Pre-Schoolers
• A.W.A.N.A.
• Various Small Bible Study Groups
• Bereavement meals for families who suffer the loss of a loved one.
• New mother ministry - provide a weeks worth of evening meals for the family when a new baby arrives.
• Vital Impact - Outdoorsmen Ministry

Servant Evangelism

We have a committee that is dedicated to servant evangelism in our Community.  Some of the ministries we do on an ongoing basis through "God Loves De Soto":

• Angel Food - click here for the most recent menu
• Cut grass and do yard work for those who are unable to do it themselves
• Home repairs and maintenance for those who need our help
• Help with moving from one home to another when needed

Some of the ministries are done at different intervals through out the year, to show Christ's love to our community.  These are the remaining events for 2008.

• DeSoto Spring Festival
• 4th of July parade
• Community Day
• DeSoto Fall Festival
• Thanksgiving Day Meal - 2007 we served 364 dine in, carry out and delivered meals

While 'God Loves De Soto' would be considered Home Missions we also do Foreign Missions, for example:

• We are working on a mission trip to Kenya

Members of our church go on these mission trips to help build and repair churches and houses, do backyard bible studies, and gather needed supplies to take to the area.
