1 John 5:14-15
" And this is the confidence that
we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he
hears us. And if we know that he
hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that
we have asked of him."
We believe prayer is fundamental for every Christian both
corporately and individually.
Prayer is how we:
- Build a relationship with God
- Bring our cares and concerns to God on behalf of our Christian brothers
and sisters as well as our community, country, and world.
- Praise, Worship and Thank God for the many blessings and everlasting
love He bestows upon us.
- Find comfort in the dark hours of life, when we need Him most...He's
right there with us.
Youth have activities and the children have AWANA on Wednesday evening,
beginning at 6:30 pm.
The Wednesday evening adult service is dedicated to corporate prayer,
beginning at 7:00 pm. We invite you to join us as we worship God in
prayer.
For the entire year of 2006 we have every member of our church praying in
fifteen minute intervals around the clock, for our church, our community, our
country and it's leaders.
Why do we do this?
2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by my
name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from
their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive
their sin and heal their land."
Because 1 John 5:14-15 and 2 Chronicles 7:14 among many other scriptures,
assures us if God's people will humble themselves, pray, seek God's will and
turn away from sin, God will hear our prayers, forgive and heal our land.
If we follow 2 Chronicles 7:14 seeking His will as we pray, 1 John 5:14-15 tells
us we will have the requests we ask of Him.
We would love to have you come and be a part of our prayer service, lifting
up our prayers and praises together. If you are unable to attend our prayer
service you can fill out the form below and submit your prayer requests to our
church ministerial staff and we will join in prayer with you.
Please send any information about your request you would like
to share:
