Welcome to Grace Way Kids! I hope this webpage will be helpful in defining the ministries we have for your children. The Bible promises “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart’” (Jeremiah 29:11-13). First Baptist DeSoto desires that your children experience a full and meaningful life. We believe that life is in Jesus. Each children’s ministry is focused on your child’s learning to know and live for Jesus. God has created each child for a special purpose, and He desires to share that plan with them. As they live out that plan, they can truly have a full and meaningful life.

We have age graded Bible classes to meet the specific needs of your child's development with lots of fun and activities.
Puggles
Puggles recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical truth at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Puggles meet on Sunday evenings at 6 PM.
Cubbies
Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Cubbies meet on Sunday evenings at 6 PM.
Girls in Action (GA)
GA is a missions discipleship group for girls in grades 1–6. The GA Motto is “Go Forward!” and Girls in Action do just that—they grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they learn through hands-on missions opportunities. GA leads girls to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission, and His church. GA meets on Sunday evenings at 6 PM.
Royal Ambassadors (RA)
RA is a missions discipleship group for boys in grades 1–6. RA provides an opportunity for boys to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and relationally with others through missions involvement and character development. RA meets on Sunday evenings at 6 PM.
VBS
Vacation Bible School is a week long event during the summer for our children. Over 500 children come and learn about Jesus. Look at our calendar for dates of this year’s VBS.
Good News Club
Bible Club for boys & girls grades K - 6 after school at Vineland Elementary & Athena Elementary on Mondays from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Snacks, Bible stories, games, songs & more!
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
Where every child is a winner! Children learn team-work, respect for authority and sportsmanship. The season runs from December to early March and is offered to children in Kindergarten ~ 8th grade.
