Guest Speaker: Stephenie combs

Stephenie earned a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Denver Seminary and degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Southwest Baptist University. With nearly two decades of counseling experience, she has worked in community mental health and owned a private counseling practice in Colorado before returning to her home state of Missouri.

Stephenie is a Board Certified Telehealth Therapist with specialized training in trauma therapy, family therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory. She works primarily with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, and other challenges. Her approach is practical and direct, focused on building strong relationships with clients and equipping them with tangible skills for everyday life.

Her faith is central to her work, and she seeks to help clients recognize the Lord’s presence in their lives and experience Christ’s unfailing love and grace.

Stephenie has been married to her college sweetheart for 20 years, and they have two daughters. She enjoys family time, reading, DIY projects, time with friends, shopping, and plenty of family dance parties.
